Definition Of Informal Email:
Informal emails are written to family, friends and colleagues (people with whom we work). Emails are different from letters. They are usually brief and to the point. The language used in such emails is informal.Parts Of Email:
To:(Recipient) -In this column we type the email address of the person we are sending the email to.
CC: (Carbon Copy) -
In this column we type an email of one or more other people, whom we send the exact same copy of the email.
BCC: (Blind Carbon Copy) -
The only email address visible to all the recipients is the one in the “To” field. Any email addresses in the Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) field will not be seen by others.
Subject:
This include the main topic or purpose of the email content.
Main Body:
- Salutation:
It is the first part in the body of an email – It is a greeting and is always followed by a comma. e.g. Dear xyz, Hello, etc. -
Body:
Write the main content of a message. -
Ending Or Closing:
Any word like Regards, Thank you, etc. can be used.
Capitalize the first letter of the word and follow it with a comma.
Formal closings include “Sincerely” and “Thank you,” while more friendly messages can use “Talk to you soon!” or “See you later!” etc. -
Signature:
It should include full name and contact information, and written Below closing word.

Attachment
Its purpose is to attach or upload a file that is sent along with an email message.
This file could be a document, picture, etc. -
Send
When email is complete and ready to send, press 'SEND' button. - Reply
If we want to reply to a Recipient, press this button, in 'SUBJECT' column (Re:) will appear with the sender email address is "To: (Recipient)" column automatically. So we can write reply in email 'Body' part. - Forward
If we want to send incoming email to someone else, press forward button. In 'SUBJECT' column (Fwd:) appear. Write the address of (Recipient) in 'To' column. - Draft
If we want to save our email to send it later and vice versa, press 'Draft' button. We can review and edit it later before sending. - Discard
If we want to delete our email after preparing it, press 'Discard' button. So it will be removed permanently.
