Ans. Hazrat Mohammad (peace be upon him) was born in 571 A.D at Makkah. Some historian say that he was born in 570 A.D. He belonged to the noble family of Quraish.
Q.2: What did the Quraish worship or believe in? What did Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) say to them?
Ans. The Quraish believed and worshiped idols and called them their gods. Hazrat Mohammad (peace be upon him) told the Quraish not to worship their false gods. The Holy Prophet asked the Quraish not to worship their false Gods but to worship the One and only true God and to accept him as the Prophet of God.
Q.3: What was the reaction of Quraish to Prophet's preaching? Why did the Quraish oppose the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him)?
Ans. The Quraish opposed that new religion, and most of them refused to accept Islam. They thought that by preaching Islam he (peace be upon him) was against their gods and their ancestors, The Quraish wanted to continue worshiping idols and did not believe in one God.

Ans. Most of the people of Makkah refused to accept Islam. They opposed the new faith and their bitter opposition causes the Prophet (P.B.U.H) much agony and a lot of trouble. So in 622 A.D. Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) migrated to Medina.

Ans. Hijra means" To migrate to other place for the safety of life and faith'. In 622 A.D the prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H) accompanied by his faithfully friend Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) migrated to Medina. This event is known in history as the “Hijra”.

The last sermon teaches us that / The four main points of the last sermon of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) are:
1- There is no god except Allah. None shares his authority or power.
2- The superiority of men is not based on blood or wealth. Only the goodness of a person makes him superior to others. The most righteous is the most honourable.
3- All Muslims are brother to one another.
4- Finally the last sermon teaches us that the Holy Quran is the message of Allah and if we act according to its teachings, we will never go wrong.

Ans: God made different nations and tribes so as to be known one from the other. In the eyes of God, the most righteous is the most honourable among people. there is no difference on the basis of blood or wealth.

Ans: Only the goodness of a man makes him superior to others. No Arab is superior to a non Arab. The whole of humanity is the offspring of Adam, and Adam was created from dust. Nor a white man in any way better than a black man. The claims to greatness founded on blood or wealth are false.

Ans: In his last Hajj sermon, he (peace be upon him) said that a Muslim is another Muslim's brother. All the Muslims are brother among themselves. It is also due to the fact that the whole humanity is the offspring of Hazrat Adam (A.S).

Ans: Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) was born in 571 A.D. at Makkah.He belonged to the noble family of Quraish. He (peace be upon him) was the Last Prophet of God. When he (peace be upon him) began to preach Islam and told Quaraish that only Allah is the worthy of worship. The people of Makkahh turned against him and became his fierce enemy. They thought Islam was against their gods and ancestors.
Due to their bitter opposition the holy Prophet (peace be upon him) asked his(peace be upon him) followers to migrate to Medina. In 622 A.D. The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) himself accompanied by his(peace be upon him) faithful friend Hazrat Abu Bakr, migrated to Medina. This event is called 'Hijra'.
In Medina, the Prophet (peace be upon him) founded an Islamic society. He (peace be upon him) raised the status of women. In the 10th Hijra Makkah was conquered and the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) performed his first and last Hajj with his followers where he (peace be upon him) addressed a large gathering on Mount Arafat. It was his (peace be upon him) Last Hajj Sermon.
The main point of his (peace be upon him) Sermon are as follows: Allah is the only God. None shares his authority. the superiority of man is not based on blood or wealth. In the eyes of God everybody is equal. Only the goodness of a man makes him superior to other. The whole humanity is the offspring of Adam Alaih Salam. All Muslims are brothers among themselves. The most righteous is the most honourable. The Holy Quran and Sunnah are the permanent source of guidance for mankind.
