1. Say in five sentences what you know about the poetry of Shah Abdul Latif.
Ans:
1- Shah Abdul Latif started composing poetry while he was only a boy.
2- Shah Abdul Latif was a mystic poet.He was a versatile, genius and had attempted all aspects of poetry.
3- Shah Abdul Latif was a poet of the people and was successful in awakening them to the discovery of the truth of spiritual life.
4- He had very deed sympathy for the poor and had expressed in his sentiments about them with great pathos and sentiments.
5- His collection of poems was so valued that it was translated into many languages and is called Risalo of Shah Latif.”

2.Write five sentences about Bhit Shah if you have seen it.
Ans:
1- Bhit Shah is at a distance of 55 km from Hyderabad.
2- A mound of a sand is called 'Bhit' in Sindhi. As Shah Latif lived his rest life on this mound so Shah Latif came to be known as  Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai "The saint of a mound" and the mound is known as "Bhit Shah"
3- In 1165 Hijra ,Shah Abdul Latif was buried on this mound when he died. Later there was built a Shah's shrine with a lovely white dome.
4- Latif's Urs is held on his shrine on 14th Safar.
5- A library, a rest house and a museum have also been built at Bhit Shah near Shah's shrine.

Grammatical Structures

(a) Past tense
1. God sent the Prophet as a blessing to mankind.
2. Shah Latif's ancestors liked Sindh very much.
3. They decided to make it their home.

Past tense: turned, found, spent, began, attached, came, increased, loved, sat, prayed, learnt, died, lived, buried, listened, moved
All these are examples of the simple past . They show that an action has already taken place.
Past tense is usually made by adding (ed) to the Present Tense. But it is not always so.

Examples:

1- He grew up to be a saint.  (Grow)
2- He wrote a letter.  (Write)
3- She drank a glass of water. (Drink)
4- She came.  (come)
5- He went. (go)
 6- They ran.  (Run)

(b) Simple Past Interrogative

4-What did you eat for break fast yesterday?
5-Where did you go on Friday?
