      You are right, In book the formula is:
      F = Δp / t
      Where F is force
      Δp change in momentum &
      t = unit time
      Text book page no 62 equation (3.2)

      But there is mistake in text book
      The correct formula to express force in relation to momentum change is:

      F = Δp / Δt
      Explanation:
      Definition of Variables:

      F = is the force.
      Δp = is the change in momentum.
      Δt = is the change in time over which that momentum change occurs.

      Reason for Using Δt:
      The symbol Δ indicates a change over a specific interval. In this context, Δt refers to the time interval during which the change in momentum Δp occurs. This means we are considering the average force applied over a specified time period.
      If the equation were F=Δp / t
      It would imply that we are dividing the change in momentum by an arbitrary time t, which could lead to an incorrect understanding. The proper approach is to consider the specific interval of time during which the change in momentum takes place.
