Essay On - Pollution / Environmental Pollution / How to Control Pollution

Pollution / Environmental Pollution

Pollution has proved itself to be a huge Monster of this modern age that polluted our environment in every single second. It is harmful to all creature including the whole plant Kingdom. Horrors of pollution have increased to a large extent. There are a number of fundamental factors which have contributed in the enhancement of pollution. It has expanded in each and every field.

Major factors are the Mills And factories which are the main cause of increasing environmental pollution rate. Poisonous gases are evolved from the factories which make the environmental condition polluted. Waste matters and poisonous substance are also released in liquid form and as such sea water is polluted which is really are harmful condition to the marine life. Gases including oxides of carbon and Sulphur are also harmful to human health when their percentage concentration is increased in the atmosphere.

Concentrated soot releasing from vehicles is also dangerous. It causes pollution in nature. It is also the cause of increasing noise pollution.

Environmental pollution is also damaging the outer covering of the air mass by and by, which is the layer of ozone gas. Covering of the ozone gas prevents ultraviolet rays of the Sun to reach the earth. These ultra violet rays cause many diseases.

It has been discovered that ozone layer is broken up at some places and the growth of some diseases has been observed in those regions of the earth. It has quoted that
" Environmental Pollution Is An Incurable Disease. It Can Only Be Prevented."

It is really necessary to take essential measures to decrease the rate of pollution. Measures have been adopted but they seem to be insufficient. Our world is greatly suffering from its harmful effects and it has affected the beauty of nature. Means and measures should seriously be adopted in this connection to decrease the pollution rate.

The harmful effects of pollution are unbearable. This problem is worldwide. It is the main cause of allergic asthma and other type of allergies. There are countless people in the world who are suffering from allergic asthma. Victim of this monstrous problem are especially the countries of the third world where the mode of dwelling is already backward. Low standard of living generate countless problems and ascending pollution rate is one of these miserable situations.

It is essential to make measures to reduce the pollution rate otherwise a healthy atmosphere can not prevail. It can only be wiped out if strict measures are taken by the public sector and at government levels.

HOW TO CONTROL POLLUTION

In the last two or three centuries, science has made great progress. We are living in the age of continuous industrial revolution. We have built vast industries that arc providing large quantities of goods and machines.

Millions of factories in all parts of the world arc sending huge quantities of carbon dioxide and other poisonous gases in the atmosphere. This is not the whole story. They are pouring continuous streams of harmful chemicals into the rivers of the world. Every hour our cars, buses and aeroplanes are discharging deadly poisons into our atmosphere. There are three kinds of pollution which we are facing.

(i) Atmospheric Pollution
(ii) Water Pollution
(iii) Noise Pollution

Efforts are being made to control the pollution throughout the world. The hole of ozone layers is being tried to repair. Many special organisation has been made to control the pollution. The electronic and print media is trying to produce complete awareness about the pollution and its causes and about its results in future. I think following attempts can be made to control the pollution.

(i) Complete awareness should be provided to people by using electronic and print media.
(ii) It should be ordered to all factory and mills owners that they must destroy their waste in the most careful way.
(iii) Recycling of the wastes should be introduced in factories.
(iv) The smoke of the transporting vehicles should be controlled by using special devices. (v) The rattling of machines and the pressure horns should be avoided and the noisy process should be controlled.
(vi) The discharge of the wastes into the rivers should be stopped.

Environmental pollution

Environmental pollution is a global issue, and Pakistan is no exception. In recent years, Pakistan has witnessed a significant rise in environmental pollution, which poses a severe threat to the health of citizens and the sustainability of the ecosystem. Several factors contribute to environmental pollution in Pakistan, including industrialization, urbanization, population growth, and lack of awareness among the general public.

One of the major contributors to environmental pollution in Pakistan is the industrial sector. The country has a significant number of industries that operate without proper regulations and supervision, leading to the emission of harmful chemicals and pollutants into the air, water, and soil. The industrial waste disposal system is also inadequate, leading to the accumulation of hazardous waste in the environment.

Urbanization is another contributing factor to environmental pollution in Pakistan. Rapid urbanization has led to an increase in traffic, construction activities, and the use of fossil fuels, resulting in air pollution. The use of outdated and poorly maintained vehicles is also a significant contributor to air pollution in urban areas.

Population growth in Pakistan is also a concern when it comes to environmental pollution. The increase in population leads to more waste production, inadequate waste management, and a higher demand for energy, which results in greater environmental degradation.

Finally, lack of awareness and environmental education among the general public is a significant contributor to environmental pollution in Pakistan. Many people are unaware of the harmful effects of pollution on their health and the environment. As a result, they engage in practices that contribute to environmental pollution, such as littering, burning garbage, and using plastic bags.

To tackle environmental pollution in Pakistan, there is a need for collective efforts from the government, industries, and citizens. The government should implement and enforce environmental laws and regulations to reduce pollution levels. Industries should adopt eco-friendly practices, including proper waste disposal and the use of renewable energy sources. Citizens should be educated on the importance of the environment and the impact of their actions on the ecosystem.

In conclusion, environmental pollution in Pakistan is a significant problem that requires urgent attention. The issue affects not only the health of citizens but also the sustainability of the ecosystem. It is essential to take collective action to tackle environmental pollution in Pakistan, including implementing and enforcing environmental regulations, adopting eco-friendly practices, and educating citizens on the importance of the environment.

POLLUTION

The process of pollute the environment by different methods is called pollution. Pollution is harmful to human, animal and plant life. There are many factors of pollution but the greatest factor is scientific and industrial process. In the last two or three centuries, science has made great progress. We are living in the age of continuous industrial revolution. But it is also give us harm.

Millions of factories in all parts of the world are sending huge quantities of carbon dioxide and other poisonous gases in the atmosphere. This is not the whole story. The pouring continuous streams of harmful chemicals into the rivers of the world. Every hour our cars, buses and aero-planes are discharging deadly poisons into our atmosphere. Not only this, the harm loudly sounds of engine of cars; buses are making noise pollution which disturb the nervous system of a man. There are three kinds of pollution which we are facing.
(1) Atmosphere Pollution
(2) Water Pollution
(3) Noise Pollution.
Efforts are being done to control the pollution throughout the world. Many special organizations have been made to control the pollution. I think following attempts can be made to control the pollution.
(1) Complete awareness should be provided to people by using electronic and print media.
(2) Recycling of the wastes should be introduced in factories.
(3) The smoke of the transporting vehicles should be controlled by using special devices.
(4) The rattling of machines and pressure horns should be avoided.
(5) The discharge of the wastes into the rivers should be stopped.
We should try to keep our environment neat and clean and try to develop the habit of plantation.
