An Exciting Cricket Match
OR
T20 Match Between Pak Vs India
OR
Recent T20 Match Between Pakistan And India

By Admin
Cricket is undoubtedly among the most popular sports in the world. T20 has revolutionized the sport of cricket and made it much more extraordinary and charming game. The excitement will be doubled when the match is played between age old-rivals India and Pakistan. In ICC T20 World Cup 2021, they clashed on 24th October 2021 in the 16th of 45 opening night matches at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai. Hundreds of millions of fans across the globe watched the blockbuster match. We also enjoyed the match on TV with our family.

Both teams would aim to open their accounts with a win and wanted to carry the confidence deeper into the tournament. The day was Sunday and match starts at 7:30 pm. Pakistani captain Babar Azam has won the toss and elected to field first, keeping to take the advantage of dew on pitch more than anything in mind. When the first innings starts, India's in-form openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul came to play as openers. The rampant Shaheen Afridi made one of the hottest debuts in the history of T20 World Cups. He first trapped Rohit Sharma in front of the wickets for LBW out who walked back to the dressing room with a first-ball duck in a match. Soon after, in Shaheen's second over, KL Rahul (3) was left from a fiery fullest delivery. Both Indian openers fell inside the first three overs.

Hasan Ali further dented India as he dismissed young talent Suryakumar Yadav, after a promising start, was the next in the line back to the pavilion. Pakistan rocked, as India-the Men in Blue were left reeling after losing three top-order batsmen. India's hopes now were pinned on Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli, who took the anchor's role. They scored some runs to help India reach 50 before the first 10 overs. Halfway through the innings, India were 60/3. A sudden shift of gear from Pant and his fifty run stand with Virat Kohli pulled India back into the match. However, Pant's gritty innings didn't last long as Shadab Khan struck, removing the left-handed for 39 (30). Hardik Pandya and Jadeja contributed with a few runs. Big loss of India in the 19th over after Afridi sends back Kohli for 57 (49) with a slower bouncer. Pakistan restricted India to 151/7 in 20 overs. Shaheen Shah Afridi picked up 3-wickets, Hasan Ali took 2-wickets and one for Shadab Khan - Haris Rauf.

"Cricket is a pressure game, and when it comes to an India-Pakistan match the pressure is doubled."

We all are very excited and praying for our team before the second inning was started. The Pakistan's openers Babar Azam and Rizwan have displayed an absolute masterclass in the high pressure run chase. The target never looked out of reach during the chase as the Pakistani opening pair looked always in control of the required run-rate. Since the start of the sixth over, Pakistan have not hit a single boundary. They are digging themselves a hole against some pretty good spin bowling from Jadeja and Varun. The two openers added 43-0 in 6 overs. In Pakistan's favour, there seems to be some dew out there. In the chase, Pakistan looked in complete control and Bhuvneshwar's lack of pace and non-existent swing made it easy for Rizwan to effortlessly cart him over square leg for a six. Skipper Babar was also elegant as he punched Mohammed Shami off the back-foot and rocked back to pull Jadeja over deep mid-wicket for a six. Before India realized, the duo had taken the game away by posting the highest ever opening stand against India in T20 internationals.

Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan produced a magnificent batting performance as they remained unbeaten on 68 off 52 balls and 79 off 55-balls respectively including 12-fours and 5-sixes with strike rate of 143.63. Pakistan finally broke their unbeaten streak in the T20 World Cup first time against India. They registered a comprehensive 10-wicket victory against their arch-rivals by chase down the target 152-0 in 17.5 overs. In their 13th attempt in World Cups, Pakistan finally first time managed to beat India, and did so comfortably on a night when almost everything went to plan for them. With the sensational uprooting of the openers and the new ball, Shaheen Shah Afridi was the brightest star of the night and declared the man of the match. The whole Pakistan team in the support cast played their role well, including a nerveless chase by the openers. It was a match that we can remember forever.

“A trophy carries dust. Memories last forever.”
The whole nation had celebrated that magnificent victory of our team. People came out from their houses, dancing and did firework. They had also distributed  confectioneries and sweets.

Q.2: Define Bus. How many types of buses?
Ans: Buses:
  • In computer, Buses are the electric paths on which data is sent and received by different components.
  • They are just like roads. As roads connect different places, buses connect all the parts of the computer to each other.
  • They also connect all internal components on the motherboard.
Types Of Buses:
There are three types of buses:
  1. Control bus
  2. Data bus and
  3. Address bus

1. Control Bus:
  • Control bus is a physical connection that carries command between different components to control all activities in a computer.
  • The bus carries signals that report of status of various devices.
  • e,g. one line of the bus is used to indicate whether CPU is currently reading from or Writing to main memory.

2. Data Bus:
  • Data bus carries data between the processor, memory unit and other components.
  • The speed of data travelling between components depends upon the number of wires in the bus.

3. Address Bus:
  • Address bus carries the address of the data (but not the data). The address bus is used to specify memory location to be used by microprocessor for specific operation.
  • Address bus is used to specify a physical address.
  • e.g.  A system with a 32-bit address can address 232 memory locations

Q.3: Define Electronic Era. In how may generation Modern age can be divided?
Ans: ELECTRONIC ERA (Modern Age)
The advancement in the vacuum or electron tube gave birth to the electronic era.
  • In this era the true computers were invented which worked on the principle of input, store, process and output.
  • Continuous advancement in electronic engineering increased efficiency and speed of computers considerably.
  • The electronic era may be categorized in generations on the basis of core technology used to build computers.

GENERATION OF COMPUTER
Modern age of computers are divided in five generations. Each generation is characterized by a major technological development that fundamentally changed the way computers operate, cheaper, more powerful and more efficient and reliable devices.
  1. First Generation of Computers (1940 to 1956):
    Technology Used: Vacuum Tubes
    Example: ENIAC, EDVAC, UNIVAC

  2. Second Generation of Computers (1956 to 1963):
    Technology Used: Transistors.|
Example: IBM 7094 and IBM 1401

  3. Third Generation of Computers (1964 to 1971):
    Technology Used: Integrated Circuits (ICs).
Example: IBM 360 and IBM 370

  4. Fourth Generation of Computers (1971 to Present):
    Technology Used: Microprocessors.
    Example: Apple Macintosh, IBM PC.

  5. Fifth Generation of Computers (Present and Beyond):
Technology Used: Artificial Intelligence Technology, still being developed.
Example: laptop, notebook, digital diary, Android, Pocket PC, Palm top, Humanoid Robots etc.

Q.4: Enlist any three components present on Motherboard?
Ans: Components Of Motherboard:
It includes the following general components:
  1. Microprocessor (CPU)
  2. Slots
  3. Ports
  4. Buses
  5. RAM and ROM
  6. Other electronic components for example resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, jumpers etc.
